Wanna learn some cowboy logic? The Willow Creek Cowboy Poetry and Western Music Society invites everyone to the great little town of Stavely, Alberta for the sixth annual Willow Creek Gathering on July 11th, 12th & 13th, 2008. This three day event will feature entertainers trying to teach and preserve the heritage of the cowboy way and the pioneer spirit through music, humour, poetry (the western kind) and storytelling. All proceeds will go to various non-profit organizations. It is held in the Stavely Arena (see the Location page for details) that makes for a perfect rural setting, complete with western artifacts such as wagons and saddles. This venue is becoming renowned for it's great acoustics, which keep the performers lining up, to sign up for the next year. For a list of this year's confirmed performers see the Performers page.
	We are a "partner" with the Cowboy Trail in Alberta and are one of the designated destinations.

The weekend has a full Schedule of Events including cowboy breakfast, silent auction, merchandise and display area (which will include everything from saddles to horse paintings - something for everyone's taste), a performing artist's merchandise table, day concession, beverage sales booth, a scrumptious roast beef dinner, raffle tickets, main feature performances, firepit entertainment, cowboy church service, and a variety of other events.
